Program Educational Objectives (PEOs): The Associate Degree in Psychology program is guided by the following Program Educational Objectives:

  1. Knowledge Acquisition: Graduates will possess a broad understanding of the major theories, concepts, and research findings in psychology, demonstrating knowledge in various subfields, such as developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, social psychology, and cognitive psychology.
  2. Research and Analytical Skills: Graduates will develop research and analytical skills, enabling them to critically evaluate psychological research, collect and analyze data, and draw meaningful conclusions to contribute to the advancement of psychological knowledge.
  3. Ethical and Professional Practice: Graduates will demonstrate an understanding of ethical principles and professional standards in psychology, recognizing the importance of maintaining confidentiality, respecting diversity, and upholding ethical guidelines in their interactions with clients, research participants, and colleagues.
