The Associate Degree in Fashion Design program is an exciting journey into the dynamic and ever-evolving world of fashion. Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs): Throughout the program, students will achieve the following Program Learning Outcomes:

  1. Fashion Design Principles: Students will develop a strong foundation in fashion design principles, including color theory, silhouette, texture, and proportion, enabling them to create visually striking and cohesive fashion collections.
  2. Fashion Illustration and Visualization: Students will acquire skills in fashion illustration and visualization, using various techniques to communicate design ideas and showcase their creative concepts visually.
  3. Garment Construction and Techniques: Students will learn garment construction techniques, mastering skills in pattern making, draping, sewing, and fabric manipulation to bring their designs to life with impeccable craftsmanship.
  4. Textile Selection and Knowledge: Students will gain knowledge of textiles, fabrics, and materials used in fashion design, understanding their properties, suitability for different garments, and their impact on design aesthetics.
  5. Fashion Marketing and Branding: Students will develop an understanding of fashion marketing and branding strategies, including market research, consumer behavior, brand identity, and promotion techniques, essential for successful fashion entrepreneurship or employment.
  6. Fashion Show Production: Students will participate in fashion show production, experiencing the process of organizing and showcasing their designs, understanding the importance of presentation, choreography, styling, and event management in the fashion industry.

Program Details

2 Years

Intermediate or equivalent (12 years) qualification with minimum (35%) marks.
